Where exactly is the pickup coil located?

On a 83  linc. t/c there is a pick up coil in side the dist.in order to change it you must remove the dist. the easy way is to just replace the dist.get a reman. one and it comes with a new pick and module. they should be change together.cause when one go bad the other follows.good luck
