Ford: water leak in 86 Escort, water leak, thiong

I have a 86 Ford Escort wagen and I have a water leak.  When it rains the passenger's floorboard fills up.  I don't see any moisture on the dashboard so I don't think the window is leaking.  Is this common to this years Escort?  How can I find the leak?  The seal on the door also seems intact.  I live in Washington State so It's going to be wet a lot.

The best way to do a water leak test is to run a hose with half water pressure.pull back the carpet and the pading remove the kick panal dry every thiong up and with a flash light close the door and have someone on the outside move the hose around to different positions slowly and follow the leak. more then it is comming from the windsheld and firewall
