Ford: Seatbelt swap, seat belts, safety feature

Hi Austin,

Do you know if Mustang front seatbelts (79-93) are interchangable? I have an 85 GT and would like to swap in newer belts, from 91-93 if possible.

I do not know for sure if they would swap, but I do know that those year models were very similar.  I do not want to lead you to do this because seat belts are such an important safety feature.  I would not recomend changing them out for the simple fact that if one little thing is off, then it could kill you.  It might work, but then again I wouldn't do it.  I hope this helps some.  Good luck and best of wishes.
