GM-GMC: tranny, spedometer, tech tool

My spedometer and tach won't work on my 98 gmc k1500 so the tranny is in failsafe mode

my dash cluster well i right now have the same issue on my 05 gmc the dash cluster is bad but this will not cause an issue with your transmission, if there is an issue with that it is completely different.

in order to fix the dash issue you just have to replace the cluster or you can try reseting it with a tech tool. i did the reset and it messed up again about 1 day later.
