GM-GMC: 2000 Bonneville cruise control, vacuum line, cruise control

Question
The cruise seems to 'kick in' when you push the button but won't stay in cruise.  Is there a vacuum line that may be causing this?  Thanks!

If cruise work when you push and hold the button in, but disengages when you let off the button, you will need a new button, the small detent that keeps it in the on position has likely broken. This is not uncommon.  The system is fully electronic, no vacuum.
