GM-GMC: 1980 chevy c10 steering colum lock assembly, chevy c10, tilt steering

1980 chevy c10 with a manuel NON tilt steering colum and the lock and lever 2 turn key all the way back FROZE in the on position and will not relise..had 2 do it gone in 60 sec style 2 get the rat rod home..any step by step or skimatics out there?????

I don't have any access to electronic copies of any skematics for something of that year, I would doubt I could even find a service manual hard copy for that year.  What I would suggest you do, is see if you can locate a good used one.  With that year of truck there is not a whole lot involved with swapping the columns.  I will look to see if I can find a manual and update the post if I can.  Hope this helps.
