GM-GMC: Keyless Entry, keyless entry, remote control

Question
I have a 1996 Tahoe.  The keyless entry opens the doors but doesn't flash the lights or activate the horn when locking.  Is there some way to add these features?

It depaend on your remote control main unit (brain) . The way it is wired to your parking lights to flash and then the chirp option to have your horn chirp . ... Usually this is always set up . A 96 . If this came from the dealer , not an aftermarket unit . Then you can try to re-set the unit . You can put the ignition key in turn to accessory . then push your #1 remote ,lock doors. Then unlock doors .

There are so many aftermarket units out there it is hard to say !
