QuestionFor at least 1 year...perhaps longer... when I turn the ignition key to power (without going all the way to engine turn-over) I hear a 4 second low pitched growl in the region of the gas tank. Is this the fuel pump powering up and is the growl a sign of imminent fuel pump failure? I have never had a problem stating the engine no matter what the temperature.
Thank you for yor response.

AnswerBrian , Very good ears !!!
Usually , a lay person , do not take that wrong !! Hi Does not catch the sound ..
Yes , this is the start of it .
Change your fuel filter ..
See , if this changes the sound .
The fuel pump , normally just goes out , when it goes . Although this humming sound is the electrical solenoid sound.
This is just the fuel pump in the gas tank energizing up ...
Any other questions , feel free . Although it sounds like you are doing good!!!!!!!!
