GM-GMC: Windshield wipers, chevy silverado, windshield wiper

I have a 1992 chevy silverado pickup, every once in a awhile when I turn on my wipers they dont move, I hear the motor running, I have to physically pull on them in order for them to work, Then the will work normal for awhile. I have replaced the circuit board and motor about a year ago. Any ideas what might be causing the on going problem?

You may have a loose or stripped-out fastener connection where the motor connects to the wiper drive linkage.  You might also have a linkage that is binding.

Working on that part of the windshield wiper system is usually very difficult.  I recommend following the procedures in a shop manual or taking the vehicle to an experienced mechanic.
