GM-GMC: Idle speed, diagnostic scanner, gmc dealer

Question
I have a 2002 Gmc Pick up with the 5.3 eng.
It Idles at 450 rpm which I fell is to slow,
It has an Electronic gas pedal (no Cable)
How do I raise the Idle Speed. I do not see any adjustments any where.

The vehicle is too new for me.
I cannot be certain, but I believe that you have to use a diagnostic scanner to read and make changes to the computer.  This is going to a job for a reputable shop or your GMC dealer.  There might also be some sort of problem causing the slow idle and a diagnostic system check would be a good idea.
