what is the cause of a slow car acceleration? my hyundai elantra (auto) 1995 1.6 just have hard time accelerating. what is the common cause of it?

Hello, there could be different things involved.  Dirty air filter, clogged fuel injectors.  I would recommend a full tune up, make sure you fuel injectors are not clogged or new. One thing you can try is to buy the fuel injector treatment. Pour that into your gas tank before refueling and see if that makes a difference.  May take to treatments for a difference. Thank You.
