Mercedes: 1989 107 300 sl, astho, fuel treatment

the car starts up ok and ticksover but if you try to move off
the car splutters and stalls but its fine when wormedup
its astho the chok isent working

I would do a fuel treatment with Texron Black bottle injection cleaner. Sounds like the injectors are stuff. If the plugs have not been checked lately I would do that as well. The ignition and injector condition are very important during warm up.
