Mercedes: MB tranny fluid, detergent action, tranny fluid

Can you add Slick 50 for transmissions additive to the tranny of a 2000 MB E320?

I would not add any additive to Mercedes transmission fluid. If the vehicle has shifting problems, you should locate an independent transmission specialist.
If the transmission is very high mileage, I have see a fluid change cause shift problems, because the new fluid has a detergent action and clean out all the residue and this cause fluid to leak by and make the transmission have problems.
