Mercedes: 1993 300E 2.8, 108kmi, Dallas, A/C and wiper fuses, windshield wiper, mercedesshop

I recently purchased this car at an auction.  The AC and windshield wiper do not
work at all.  When I replace the fuse #2 and start the car, the fuse blows in a few
seconds.  What could be wrong?
