Mercedes: 1996 Mercedes E320 cabin air filter access, cabin air filter, charcoal filter

have a 1996 Mercedes E320Sedan. It has a charcoal filter on the cabin air circulation system. I would like to change the filter(s). Qusetion #1 is: where are the filters located and how can I access them? Question #2,what can i do to make the ac/blow faster.thank you

You are doing the best possible thing = replace the filters.
If they are dirty enough, they will grow solid with mold.
