QuestionI'm trying to charge the a/c with R12 for the 91 MB 190E 2.6. The compressor "clicks" & takes a little freon, but then shuts off. To get it to take any freon, the car would have to be started & shut off & restarted. I can see the bubbles move like the compressor wants to work. What could the problem be?
AnswerYou must jump the pressure switch on the receiver dryer = this tricks the system into thinking there is a full charge = running.
The system will not function if the A/C Speed Sensor, Located at back of A/C compressor is bad.
