Mercedes: 1975 280 Mercedes, mercedes forum, hp 120

This sight is so cool!
Hey just found sight. My 280 1975 mercedes starts fine? when choke gos off, it dies. wont idle I can keep it running by giving it gas. Had carb. off 4 times. nothing in jets or idle passages. have power to injectors and they click when turn key on. I ajusted fast idle, no vac. leak?

Are you saying that when choke goes off you loose all vacuum?

This may sound odd, but disconnect brake booster vacuum at manifold, cap it and retest cold start in twelve hours.
