Oldsmobile/Buick: 87 olds cutlass, olds cutlass, catalytic converters

i have bought a car with the AIR pump, smog, mostly removed. olds, 307 w/4 barrel rochester.
is it possible to remove the rest, i.e. cat. conv, o2 sens, egr. and just run it with air and gas? thanks for any help or ideas.

Is this a drag car ? Without the smog pump , catalytic converters , o2 sensor and EGR valve there would be no way you'd get threw any states emissions laws in the United States . Is it possible to run the car without these components ? Sure . Buy an intake manifold without the EGR slot for it unless you can find a plate to cover it up with .
