Oldsmobile/Buick: 1999 olds aurora cruise control, 1995 oldsmobile aurora, oldsmobile aurora

the car. 1995 oldsmobile aurora- problem cruise control..It always worked just fine until I was hit on the drivers side by a semi and it was quite an impact even tho he was moving slow . he made a right turn from the center lane.. ever since that my cruise doesnt work.. we checked the fuses and they are fine.. could this have disabled wiring or something. a mechanic looked at it but didnt know how to fix it or what was wrong.. would be so happy for a hint or tip so my husband could fix it... senior citizens cant afford the high price of taking it in... thanks so much...Shirley ps, you may post this on repair message board

tell your husband this also works by vac. open the hood you will see a black ball make sure that that vacuim line is till on let me know what he finds pete

husband checked and the vacumn line is on and there is vacumn.

I really don't have any idea what the problem could be . Personally I would take it too the dealership . It could be something very easy to fix . Better safe then sorry .  Don't forget to rate my response to you .
