Oldsmobile/Buick: Repair, oldsmobile cutlass, pan gasket

Is it necessary to pull the engine on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass to remove the oil pan to replace a leaking gasket?

No way do you have to remove the engine to replace the oil pan gasket . It can be reached from underneath of the car .

If its the front seal on the engine then this is a whole other story , then the trans. would have to be unbolted from the engine .
