Pontiac: Power Steering Wheel, power steering pump, pontiac grand am

I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand AM with 86,000 miles,3100 SFI E6
My Question is: My power steering wheel (that the belt goes on) is loose and I need to know if there is a bolt to keep it tight or if it is broken? How do I repair if either is the problem?

You are talking about the power steering pulley. Chances are, the shaft is broken inside the power steering pump and the pump will need to be replaced. There isn't a bolt holding the pulley on, its a pressed fit. You need a special tool to remove and install the pulley.
