Saab: 1997 Saab 9000 Water pump repair, saab 9000, water pumps

Question
Am I crazy to think that I can do this myself? I do a fair amount of mechanical work on my cars, and have done several waterpumps over the years, but this is my first Saab.

I am sorry , but I am not familiar with the 9000 series as my profile states. What I CAN state, however, is that in previous models, water pumps replacements were relatively straightforward (except in the very early 99's), so with your experience, AND a good tech manual, GO FOR IT!!
