Saab: Saab 1992 auto Transmission, sample search, auto transmission

Hi I stumbled upon your site. Do you have any suggestions for finding a transmission to replace on my 1992 900s convertible. It just went and I'm having trouble finding one. I'm not sure if I should put the money in to replace it or if I should sell the car as is to someone for parts or for them to fix up.
Any help would be great!!!

Try this online used auto parts search engine; I did a "sample search" for my zip code and found 3 possibilities for around $400.  Figure on about another $400 for installation, if you don't do it yourself. Its fairly easy!
