Volkswagen: Volkswagen Jetta 2003 Car Problem, fuel air mixture, vacuum leaks

Hi, how are you?
I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta, and i noticed when i press on the brake pedal and then accelerate, the car like jump starts, it jerks. It should smoothly drive away. Is this normal? What can i do to fix this problem?

Sounds like "hesitation".  This can be caused by many things, fuel/air mixture, timing, vacuum leaks, etc.  I'd start with a tuneup.  Also if you have a "check engine" indication, a mechanic with an OBD tester may quickly determine what the error code is and what it means.  - Rick
