Volkswagen: WV Cabrio 1998, vw dealer, best bet

We recently moved to Spain, with the car... Everything is fine but when trying to put the radio on the message SAFE  and no sound whatsoever.
We dont have the book and no idea what to do.

Hi Joseph,

The VW Radio requires a numerical security code to be typed in for it to operate.

You mentioned that you do not have the book, which has the security card in it, with the code.

The best bet would be to contact an Authorized VW dealer.  They may be able to help you out. You will probably be asked to show proof of ownership of both the car the radio.
