Volvo: Vacuum leak, power brake booster, vacuum leak

Ray, I hear what seems to be a vacuum leak when I back off the accelerator. In addition, when I have the air on in the car (heat and/or AC), the fan output decreases. This is a 94 940 turbo. Thanks

Well you will need to trace the vacuum leak to see where it is. Since the vent position is failing, then somewhere in that system is a posible leak. All you can do is listen for the leak and identify it so it can be repaired. I have seen the vacuum vent diaphragms for the floor vents and the recurc door cause the most problems. I have also seen the power brake booster leak.
