Volvo: volvo radio, volvo 850 glt, volvo company

I recently got a new battery for my Volvo 850 glt. However my radio just says off. The Volvo company gave me a code to restore the radio but it hasn't been working still. What do I do to get the radio back?

If the radio is in the OFF mode, you must have the radio in the on position and put the key on in the first position (accessory) and wait for about two hours for the radio to return to code. Then put in the proper code and the radio should work.
