Volvo: 1987 volvo 240dl keeps blowing the 8amp fuse..., power door locks, volvo 240dl

My 1987 Volvo 240dl keeps blowing the 8amp fuse for the power door locks,
radio clock and all memorized stations.  Why do you think this is happening?

There is a direct short in one of those systems. You will need to isolate the wires one at a time at the fuse box to determine what system blows the fuse. Most times I find that the power door lock wires (on the lock linkage) left front door are worn away and shorting out.
