Volvo: 98 S70 HEATER, heater ray, climate control

My 98 Volvo S has a heater issue. All of a sudden I get no heat to the floor or windshield but only through the front vents. The car has climate control option.If I switch from inside air to outside air I think I hear the noise that is changing something. Other than that my feet are freezing.

If and when you turn the key on are the lights on the climate unit flashing? If they are there are some code(s) that will need to be read. Those codes should indicate what the problem is. It could be the climate unit is bad or may need to be calibrated.
