Volvo: v70, scan tool, v 70

thanks for being so helpful in the past....i have just purchased a 99 v 70 with 100k and i am wondering hoe to identify the proper keyless remote to buy for it....thanks in advance

Best advice go to the dealer. Second option get the part number and frequency off the remote and look for that one. The remote will need to be programmed to the car that will require the proper scan tool and the PIN number all available through the dealer.
