Volvo: 1990 240DL sedan wire bundle, wire bundle, rear seat

How do I get access to the wire bundle that runs from the front driver side to under the seat on the rear passenger side.  I have a break in the wires for the trunk central locking system.  I know the wire bundle is under the plastic trim on the bottom of the doors but I can't get the trim off for fear of breaking it.  Any helpful ideas!!

The trim piece gets pulled off, it has clips that hold very tight. You'll have to take that chance and pull. Now the wire(s) that supplies the power to the truck lock is on the drivers side and goes through the hinge on the left. It ends up going up the through to the rear by the rear seat back after going along side the lower door tracks.
