Volvo: cruise control, vacuum lines, cruise control

i have a 98 S90 and cruise quit working took to a
volvo mechanic and he says no codes in computer
My husband only works on civics and does not have a wiring diagram to check out the electrical  Is this a common problem and can you give me some help on where to get the wiring etc Thanks

So your Volvo tech said no codes, then quit working on the car as if it had no problems?  No codes mean that the system sees no faults in the electronics of that system. Now there are mechanical and vacuum systems also those do not post codes. Check all the vacuum lines and mechanical parts. Try this for a wire diagram.
