Volvo: volvo air condition, 1994 volvo 940, volvo 940
QuestionI have a 1994 volvo 940 with air conditioning. The AC sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. It seems like a bad electrical connection because the unit always blows ice cold when it is working. any ideas where the problem might be. The fuses are all fine.
Thanks
AnswerJohn,
The fuses are find, but is compressor on during the time the system is not up to par? The control heads on these cars goes bad at times. You need to find a shop that can preform some tests and find if it no power or lack of freon that is at fault. A system that is low on freon does that very thing. It is time to have the system tested and see if it is low on freon or losing a power signal.
