Volvo: price for tune ups, v70 xc, volvo dealer

I own a 2001 V70 XC and I would like to know the price range for getting the 45,000 mile tuneup.  The vehicle is no longer under warranty, so I would also like to know if it would really be worth taking it to a Volvo dealer instead of an auto mechanic who might charge less.  Thanks for your help.

Hello Eric! Prices vary from place to place. I charge $150 for that service. A dealer price will be double that. I would suggest thst you find a mechanic who knows Volvo. It may be better to pay a little more to have someone who knows what they are doing.
