Volvo: Min Rotor thickness for S-40, vacuum pump, rotors

Question
I need my rotors turned and I was wondering what is the min thickness of the rotor for the front and rear. I have a 2000 S-40.

Hello Jack! The min thickness is 21.5 mm for the front and 8.4mm for the rear. I would not suggest resurfacing the rotors! It can lead to more problems! It is best to replace them if they are scored, warped or hot spotted. Also, you may want to check with a local dealer for a recall on the brake vacuum pump.
