4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: any chance?, tire fitment guide, media charts

I have a 4 wheel drive 94 suburban that i love to take to the beach and mob on the dunes. i don't want to lift it cause its already top heavy enough. but i need just a little bit more clearance. what is the biggest tire size i can put on a stock K1500 suburban?

These sites should give you an idea of what will fit without a lift.
You may consider some cutting of the fenders and modified fender flares.
