Usually, just the right size wrench is needed to pull the lines.  Sometimes 2 wrenches are needed so that you don't twist or kink the lines.  I would suggest that you purchase a repair manual at your local auto parts store (around $20).  The manual will give you step by step instructions along with photos of the proper method of removal, and installation of the lines.
