4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 1999 Chevy Tahoe wont startt, chevy tahoe, auto parts stores

When I Turn the ignition, the engine turns but will not engage.  or a better way of putting it, the engine does just like i am out of gas when i turn the ignition.  (btw, I'm not out of gas). Do you have any suggestions on why it wont start?

The first thing I would check, is the fuel rail on your fuel injectors.  There should be a valve on the rail that is used to check the fuel pressure.  If there is sufficient pressure, then I would suspect a faulty ignition component.  A Haynes, or Chilton's repair would be a great help.  These can be purchased at most auto parts stores for, around $20.
