Jeep: tires swap, tsl thornbirds, ebay

Im selling some mud tires off of my 83 CJ7 and a potential buyer asked if they would fit on his YJ (not sure what year).  I told him they probaly would, but Im really not sure.  Did I tell him wrong?  I dont know how the hubs differ between different years and models.

If it makes a difference, the tires are 33X12.5 Interco TSL Thornbirds. "Super Swampers".  The rims have 5 lug holes.  There are pics of them on ebay...part # 2474040897

Both are five lug wheels but Jeep changed the size of the pattern  several times over the years.  The best way to tell for sure is to measure the bolt pattern on both vehicles and see if they match. If you are not sure how to do this, have a tire shop do it for you.
