QuestionHi .. I have a vitara 1.6 16v 98 model and and running on 3 cylinders.. I have changed spark plugs a leads around but the problem persists on cilinder number 1. If it is any help, petrol is leaking through the exhaust manifold gasket..any ideas please!!!????

As my profile indicates, I'm a Samurai guy. I know nothing of Vitaras, and have not as much as even ridden in one, but will take a shot at it.
I believe that 16v motors have port injectors. It is possible that the injector for that cylinder is defective, and is flooding that cylinder.
Beyond that, given that I have never worked on one, and have no literature or workshop manuals, well......
