Suzuki: heater, hose clamp, russian roulette

Question
what needs to be removed in order to replace the heater hose in a 1995 sidekick.  Hose to pipe?


Answer
Which one?  One carries hot coolant from the motor, and the other carries it back to the engine.  Just follow the hoses from the firewall, and replace them both, unless you enjoy the automotive version of Russian Roulette.  If something keeps you from accessing the hose clamp, I guess it has to be moved or removed.
