Suzuki: 1998 suzuki esteem, suzuki esteem, cold start

You had told me to do this. " reset the throttle body sensors and switches"   How do I reset the TPS TBS sensor and switches?  Is the TPS and TBS the same thing?
I replaces the TPS with a known working TPS from another esteem that was working fine.  My idle goes up then down, up then down, up and then down.  It seems it does this 5 -7 min after it starts from a cold start then then the car warms up the idle goes crazy.  When the car starts from a cold start.  it stays at idle of 1.5 until the 5-7 min.  Normal idle is about 1.0.   I did notice the car is hard to start and some time sounds like is back firing or flooding.  makes firing sound, not loud but every time I try to start it from a cold position.  Im not sure what you mean to reset the sensor or switch.  I did replace it with no luck.  Thanks again.  you have been very helpful

In order to make the settings on the tps, you need to have access to a factory service manual.  I wouldn't consider attempting repairs on my own vehicle without the factory manual.  Yes, they're $100-$300, but they're absolutely accurate.  I have manuals for my Samurai, but it's not the same engine as your vehicle.  Sorry
