QuestionHello, Ray. I bought a new car yesterday -- 2008 model with 12 miles on the odometer. Today, I found damage to the paint. Specifically, just below the window on the driver's side are a number of chips in the blue paint. The chips are white, and quite noticeable. They are readily visible. They cover an area of about one square foot. Futhermore, the paint on the panel immediately behind this section appears hazy and streaked, quite unlike the rest of the car. The dealer has not yet returned my phone calls. Perhaps you have some advice for me regarding how to approach this with him, and what my rights might be in this situation. Thank you.
AnswerHi Mark
I guess without asking you got a good reason for not checking out vehicle prior to final delivery
The dealer will fix the problem but you have to be demanding, if your not satisfied with the final outcome contact me through my website http://www.usedcartips.org/ and we will put step 2 into action.
As for them not returning your call - I think in any business buying something its like 10 minutes,,, after delivery 10 hours if your lucky lol
Have a great day
Ray
