Tips on Buying Cars: Which Car has the longest expected life span, toyota avalon, nissan maximum
QuestionI am currently driving a 2003 Ford Expedition, but I am currently in the market to trade it in for something with better gas mileage but also that doesn't require a lot of maintence as the Expediton. It cost me $75 a week in gas and I am putting new brakes on almost every year and a half. The overall up keep from tires, to oil changes and brakes are pretty expensive.
I want something sporty like the nissan maximum or Toyota Avalon or Lexus ES or GS 300. I retire from the military in 7 years and I want something that can get me pass my retirement date and still last another 2 or 3 years. What should I buy and is there such a car? What vehicle out there thats has been none to get $130,000 to $160,000 miles?
AnswerTraditionally import vehicles will last longer. I would look at JD Power and Associates reliability ratings for any car you are considering. This is not a guarantee of how a particular car will perform, but it will give you a good idea. Good luck, and thank you for your service to our country.
