Tips on Buying Cars: small truck, oldsmobile intrique, older lady

Hi Robert,  I am from Pittsburgh, Pa.  I am an older lady who likes to to do garage sales.  I would like to purchase an older small truck or van that I could just throw junk in.  Sometimes I buy chairs or a dresser.  I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrique and I worry about damaging it.  I already backed into a mailbox.  If you could recommend a reliable vehicle that will hold up and not be too expensive. Hello Dee, see if you can find an older F-150, with an inline 6 cylinder engine. Those motors run forever so you wouldn'y have to worry about getting high miles on it. I think thats why Ford stopped building the motor because it performed too well. They werent breaking down. I hope this answers ypur questions.And please take a moment to rate my answers.
