Tips on Buying Cars: Buying Used, toyota rav 4, suzuki grand vitara

I am looking to move out into the country and the property is located where I believe 4 or all wheel drive will be necessary.  Where I live now, I've been able to get by with front wheel drive and for the most part will there, too.

I live in eastern Ohio and there are some steep hills and sometimes I feel more than our fair share of snow.  Which seems to hang around forever.

My question is.  In your opinion...which vehicle that offers 4 or all wheel drive is the best used car value as far as ability and dependability goes?

I am a bit familiar with your area...and must say ...if your located anywhere from Massillon going east towards Medville PA and further...yes you will need a 4 X 4...or you will get stuck there forever...Now you did not mention size or price range...I will go with low end...suzuki Grand Vitara and GM Tracker are the same...Toyota Rav-4 and Honda are good also...If on a budget go Suzuki ...I love those 4 x 4 's good on gas and seems to go forever...Good Luck...Ray
