QuestionHi Ray,
I bought a 2011 Sonata two weeks ago.
I just noticed a bubble in the tire and went back to the dealer who refused to do anything about it. He said it was because of something I drove over.
Do I have any recourse or am I responsible for this.
Thanks,
Carol
AnswerHi Carol,
I have answered over 5000. various questions on the Internet with your Q being a fresh one never asked, I am stunned you buying a brand new vehicle and driving for only 2 weeks and the dealer said you must have drove over something,,, I would agree hitting a curb or pothole and a wheel alignment is needed, but can a bubble happen to a brand new tire in this manner ? unless it is defective, being brand new ?
I am not a tire expert, but I would be really ticked having a vehicle for only 2 weeks with a bubble in the tire and would demand further answers.
Have you checked the documents or manual about tire warranty ? Is there a contact #
Summary,,, It looks like the dealer sold you a car and have no further interest in going to bat for you,,, I would contact the customer service for that brand of tire and demand answers how this could happen ???
Carol,,, I really will be interested to know the final outcome ?
