QuestionHi Ray, I am under extreme stress, Monday May 31,I bought 2 new vehicles from an ontario dealership, an Odyssey and a civic. After negociating the prices, I signed the contracts and went home. Yesterday June 5, I went to pick up my civic and found that the accesories I had asked for (~$600 worth) weren't installed. The sales guy showed me the contract I signed, and the accesories are not there. I felt hosed, and refused to pick up the car and went home, the manager treatened me with legal action.
I feel really cheated, since these accesories were the main reason I agreed to the purchase. I am a repeat customer.
What are my options?
AnswerHi Juan
I wish I could wave a magic wand to make your extreme stress go away, but sorry I can't,,, you signed a bill of sale with no mention of add on's.
However,,, if you feel this transaction is misrepresentation by the dealer contact OMVIC,,, at this link http://www.omvic.on.ca/services/consumers/file_complaint_info.htm
The manager treatened you with legal action ?,,, that makes me laugh,,, did you leave a deposit ???,,, that's the key to your whole Q
If you need further input, I will be happy to help you as we are on the same turf,,, go to my website http://www.usedcartips.org/ enter my forum and leave a phone # through my email address
