Tips on Buying Cars: Good model for long commutes, honda accord coupe, 2004 acura rsx
QuestionHi,
I need to buy a car to take on a long commute for the next 4 years. I expect 25k-30k per year. I would like to have your suggestions for a car that can handle lots and lots of miles. I plan to buy used since high miles will have me out of warranty soon, and I can't really afford new. I am fairly conscientious about maintenance, and drive like an old lady. I have 3 months, so I have time to look for whatever I want. What car would be my best bet to count on driving 300k or more? (I was thinking standard transmission is longer lasting - is that still true?) There's a 2004 Acura RSX type S in my price range right now - is that a good choice?
AnswerHi Denna,
What is your price range????? The Acura is good but parts can get a bit expensive. Why not look for a Honda Accord Coupe, if 2 door is what you want, or even a Toyota Solara....Either Toyota or Honda are both great cars, and maintenance is not outrageous. Where are you located and what is your budget??? Good luck!
