Tips on Buying Cars: 97 VW Golf Jazz Edtion used with 230,789miles, vw golf, private seller

I going to look at a private seller car for sale @ $1800 said will come down because of miles. 2owner car maintenance kept up car in great condition.  Would I be at risk with this purchase?

Thanks for your question.  You are always at risk with any purchase from a private seller.  If I were you, and I am not, I would ask to take the car to a mechanic to get checked out before I purchase the car.  If it checks out well, then I would buy the car.
